Author's Justification 1.a - FAQ

"The innate intelligence bestowed upon me by the Architect of creation, and every second I spend unveiling the petals in the flower of my mind through education, play and work are qualification enough to breach this pressing global discussion. Cornell University promised me I could find instruction in any study, so I decided to study how to end world hunger."

"Unveil the petals in the flower of your mind (erect the construction of your mind virtuously) with your aim set on the conversations you want to be a part of, and like prayer, you will realize you have always been on the path. Stay on the path.

Favorite video games: Civilization, Don't Starve

Righteous tank equipped with spells. Archetypally balanced. Christian. Slow to level-up, class requires introspection, discipline, and a keen sense of what is right. Church under the Catholic and Protestant umbrellas helps with this braid.

Origins of the website.

"I was voluntarily homeless in America for two years after a Siddhartha-esque moment at Cornell University compelled me to forsake the comfort of life as a person of noble descent with my family. I went into the wilderness of the streets to build greater compassion and empathy for the suffering people of the world, tools I could later use to deepen my understanding of the problem I want to solve."

"While I was homeless I met with terrible hunger. It was formless, like shadow, stripping away my health, my physique, my sanity (a B vitamin deficiency rendered me psychotic early on, I almost died on numerous occasions). I feel for the plight of the victim of war and the refugee more deeply than the average man, and feel compelled to take action."

"One night after my ascetisism ended and I was in recovery I took a prescription Lithium pill and went to sleep. I dreamt of a great volcano covered in golden wheat. As it grew near the mouth of the volcano it fell in and turned to ash. The smoke rose to the skies and fed the world. I awoke in a cold sweat, a pressing sense of urgency upon me."

"An epiphany arrived that night. I know how to end world hunger. I registered the domain www.howtoendworldhunger.com that night. I began to orient everything I had learned at Cornell University in my head to put into words the epiphany that is within my head. And here we are now. I don't know when you're reading this, but I am probably still working on this website. These first couple pages are the kindling for some really big logs that are going to burn very hot. Please be patient while I endeavor to get everything right."

The Next 1000 Years of Agriculture: One day, after we End World Hunger, I am going to build a castle and grounds dedicated to conducting "state of the art" private research and technology development for the next one thousand years of agriculture.. On land, at sea, under the sea, in the air, in space.

Medical Ethnobotany: I love plants, and see food as medicine. Medical ethnobotany explores  braids of how plants relate to the human system, and the epistemology through which plants develop novel compounds. For me this is like listening to the work of the Creator in real, present time.

World Peace: Ending world hunger is a part of the system of leveraged articles that when implemented will bring an end to end violence between people in the world.

📊📉📈 business modules and epistemologies

🪏 Grand Teton National Park Youth Conservation Program

Maintenance of the route for the journey to awe, inspiration, epiphany. Epistemology: Using the right tool for the job, and improvising when the _perfect_ tool is not available. Skills: Teamwork in medium sized teams (21 people).

🛻 Hole Food Rescue

Helping the hungry indirectly as part of a non-profit. I did one pick up at a wonderful grocery store in 2024 or early 2025. I will elaborate on what the experience meant to me and the key epistemologies and how to topology of this experience related to ending world hunger

🚚 Louie's Lunch Food Truck

Sympathizing with the hungry students at Cornell as part of the finest dining experience for brilliant students from around the world. Looking into the hearts and souls of students, professors, Ithacans, travelers, masons with blessing, each on an individual basis; and nourishing their confidence. Developing the epistemology of meeting the needs of the hungry by inputing their desire into the system, turning ingredients into works of art by working the secret magic of the Louies Lunch Food Truck, and fulfilling and ratifying the transactional macronutrient experience_and a little bit of micronutrient experience. Ah_ Calories. Skills: Small unit (2-4) teamwork. Hard work. I would work from 10PM to 4AM, three, sometimes more times a week, and go to my 8:40AM classes on International Agriculture and Rural Development, Plant Sciences and Business on time. For many semesters. This balance was a skill, and I got better at it with time.

🔨 Construction Apprenticeship

I made a good wage working construction while I was a student at Cornell University during COVID. Every epistemology I have counts and could make a difference in the lives of who are hungry.

🥶🚮 Voluntary Homelesness

Empathizing with the hungry. Feeling deeply into the human experience of hunger to better understand what it is going to take to end hunger. NoT jUsT sTaRvAtIoN. Learning the mechanics of hope around food, and spending a lot of time thinking about the nodes and connections between nodes in the food system. Skills: Resource discipline. I lived on 5$ a day, which I procured by asking people for money with paperwork (cardboard). I could have made much more, but I was disciplined. And hungry. Malnourished. I got pellagra. I stayed well read. Barrons and the WSJ at the library when I needed a little extra kick of dopamine and other hormones. The Business section of the Daily Newspaper almost every day. Learning to embrace the place I occupied in the global food production and distribution system with courage. I learned detachment and courage.
